Transitions, change and cheese!
Dear Parents,
As we approach the end of the academic year, children are preparing for a move to a new year group. While this can be exciting, it may also bring uncertainty, and it may begin to surface at home and on the journey to school. Your encouragement and openness to discussion at home is key to helping them feel prepared and ready, not just for this change but for the many changes that are ahead for us all.

As a quick read, it could help pave the way for conversations, not just about this change, but wider. The ability to adapt to change, and pivot, when times are challenging is a helpful message for our children as they navigate new classrooms, teachers, and expectations. A message that we can help them to understand early as they grow-up in increasingly complex worlds.

In school, we will carefully support students through transition activities. Together, we can help every child embrace change, both in school and beyond, with confidence and optimism.
