Triathlon

This year was the school’s largest participation with 243 registered athletes from Year 3 – Year 12. Over 30 secondary volunteers helped in the swimming pool, and transition zones and gave guidance on the course. Over 55 staff volunteers marshaled the event and the Community Group supported the distribution of race numbers and sponsored the refreshments in the goody bags. 

All athletes participated in swimming, cycling, and running. The course varied in distance depending on the year group. Each athlete crossed the finish line and was awarded a participation medal. Every athlete gave a dedicated performance, especially on the cycle route pedaling against the wind. The run is always the toughest part, but each athlete arrived at the finish line to a supportive crowd of parents, clapping and cheering every athlete. Congratulations to all involved.
